Jones Sports was contracted to manufacture and install six high-profile internally illuminated logo badges surrounding the stadium bowl. Each badge sign measured 36' in diameter and was 54' long. We also manufactured and installed two supersized specialty fabrication 3D electrical guitars, measuring 32' tall each, and installed in an "X" pattern over the freestanding entry.

The Challenge
The biggest challenge to this project was the tight timeline. The massive logos had to be installed in time for the first Miami Dolphins game of the season. This gave us six weeks to complete the project from start to finish. There was no room for a fumble. Another challenge was managing the site logistics of installation at a finished stadium.
The Solution
Tackling the timeline was our first play. Our game plan was to undertake the design and fabrication processes simultaneously. Jones Sports self-performed installation to ensure installation safety and quality and to meet the deadline. The installation team used a 600-ton, 300’ lifting jig to install the interior badges from the outside to avoid working in the finished interior.
The Result
The Miami Dolphins Hard Rock Stadium project is evidence of Jones Sports' reliability and horsepower to complete projects under very tight timelines. This project took just 6 weeks from start to finish. Our ability to design and fabricate at the same time and develop an installation game plan that would work in a finished stadium setting was instrumental to the success of this project.
